Olives harvest - session 1

The harvest of olives to be milled begins to give life to our fantastic extra-virgin olive oil! Let's start with those portions of our olive groves that this year have a lower productivity in kilograms of olives per tree. Harvesting is done by hand or with the aid of mechanical tools. The detached olives are collected on the nets positioned under the olive trees and then transferred into crates which are brought to the mill to be pressed within 48 hours of harvesting.
